Are you trying to control or manage anger, fear, anxiety, worry, and frustration?
These emotions are parts of your protective patterns. They show up to help you manage situations that feel overwhelming or out of control. When they show up, you spiral out of control! They show up to help you be heard, seen, and understood. The problem is they often push you into reactions that create distance in your relationships at work and at home. After the reactionary episode, you are often left feeling sad, disappointed, guilt, shame, and more disconnection. Pushing these parts away or telling yourself you won’t allow them to overwhelm or manage in the future is the cycle you are find yourself caught in. Instead of trying to manage or silence these parts of you, you learn to listen to them. You begin to understand what they’re trying to protect — and then you can transform them to do their job differently. This is the path toward self-leadership.

You can’t transform what you don’t know. Identify your patterns and they ways they protect you.
2. Connect – Align with your internal systems
